We can help your organization make a meaningful impact! In addition to our community-led development work, we provide consulting services to impact-driven organizations and companies, sharing our knowledge with the leadership of other institutions in the tropical agriculture and development sectors. Our non-competitive and collaborative approach ensures other innovators are able to see a greater impact of their own work.
Our consulting services focus on Supply Chain Research; Program/Project Design, Development, and Management; Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning; and Sustainability Assessment and Reporting. We also offer custom or bespoke services, and actively review and apply for sector-wide Requests for Proposal (RFPs). Mountain Harvest
Mountain Harvest is a Uganda-based specialty coffee exporter and service provider working alongside approximately 3,000 smallholder farmers in Mount Elgon, Rwenzori, and Kigezi. They focus on coffee quality as well as measurable social, environmental, and economic impact for producer communities. At the end of 2025, Mountain Harvest contracted TCC to develop their first-ever impact report, to showcase their growth and outcomes since their founding in 2017. For the assignment, our team analyzed Mountain Harvest data from the past eight years related to operations, reach, service provision, farmer livelihoods, unique projects, and business performance, developing and authoring a narrative report to turn the data into story. Additionally, we designed and produced the final graphic report for a wider audience, to be available in digital format.
MOUNTAIN HARVEST 2025 IMPACT REPORTFairtrade International
Fairtrade International is a non-profit, multi-stakeholder association made up of 22 member organizations, including three producer networks and 19 national Fairtrade organizations. Since 2022, we have supported them on several assignments. Between 2023 and 2024, we updated their cost of sustainable production template for coffee, adding indicators related to sustainability, living income, and Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD). We also conducted research on Fairtrade’s impact on deforestation and forest protection in the coffee and cocoa sectors, grounding our analysis in drivers of and interventions to curb deforestation (available via the link below). Most recently, we developed and iterated an agroecology update indicator framework for farmers and small producer organizations in the coffee, cocoa, and banana sectors. Aligned with existing agroecology measurement frameworks as well as legislative and voluntary reporting requirements, the framework allows users to indicate their uptake of agroecological practice.
FAIRTRADE INTERNATIONAL DEFORESTATION REPORTConservation International
Conservation International works to protect nature for the benefit of humanity. Since 2015, they have led the Sustainable Coffee Challenge, a multi-stakeholder coalition uniting coffee sector actors to invest in action that will make coffee the first sustainable agricultural product in the world. Between 2024 and 2026, TCC supported their multi-stakeholder initiative to establish carbon footprint baselines for coffee production in five Latin American countries: Brazil, Colombia, Honduras, Mexico, and Peru. One of our team members served as the Consultant Project Lead, ensuring collaboration that spanned data collection, data analysis, and results dissemination between approximately 30 sector-wide actors. PROJECT RESOURCESAlgrano
Algrano is a coffee company that leverages technology to provide direct trading services to both coffee producers and coffee roasters, allowing each party to work in direct collaboration with one another to source and sell sustainable coffees. In 2022, TCC designed and executed a research process to survey and interview roasters and producers in their network to assess market trends. Our results analysis allowed us to author a comprehensive report of findings, which was released for free to the broader coffee industry
