Digital Fundamentals by Digital Coffee Future

This course, co-taught by Digital Coffee Future and The Chain Collaborative, is an opportunity for coffee professionals to explore the meaning and application of digitalization in coffee. In this 10-hour online course, students will learn about the purpose and users of digital tools, and how such tools can contribute to efficiency and sustainability throughout the value stream. They will gain technical knowledge on the components of a digitalization plan and understand how to map organizational or entrepreneurial processes as a starting point for digital transformation. Finally, students will discuss the main challenges behind digitalization for the coffee sector, and how to overcome these obstacles from an ethical perspective.
